Flodden, Killingworth - Temporary Restriction Of Traffic For Excavation To Replace Manhole Cover And Frame

What is happening?

THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE
FLODDEN, KILLINGWORTH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Flodden from outside number 2 to number 12. (9:00am - 16:00pm only) Access via dropped kerbs will be utilised to allow residents to access their properties.

The proposed temporary Order is required for Excavation to replace manhole cover and frame x 2 and will come into force on 27 November 2025 for a period not exceeding 1 day.
