What is happening?

SEAMER GROVE, STOCKTON

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 18th November 2025, the Highway Authority being satisfied that access to the said road should be prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.

The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 18th November 2025, is to temporarily close Seamer Grove, Stockton, from its junction with Ingleby Grove in an easterly direction for approximately 109 metres, at such times as signs are erected to notify highway users of the closure.

It is expected that works will be carried out between approximately 18th November and 16th December 2025.

The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. Alternative routes will be signed on site.

Pedestrian access will be maintained, emergency services access will not be maintained.
