What is happening?
(BAMFIELD, HENGROVE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Bamfield which extends from the common boundary line of No.97 and No.99 Bamfield to Hawksmoor Close Footpaths.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 15th December 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 15th December 2025 and 17th December 2025).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bamfield (part unaffected), Hengrove Way, Hengrove Way Roundabout, Whitchurch Lane, Bamfield (part unaffected) and vice versa
(DENMARK STREET AND GAUNTS LANE, CITY CENTRE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
The Order is required because loading and unloading works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the roads, along with the subsequent requirement to alleviate traffic manoeuvrability issues and facilitate safe access and egress for works vehicles and will be operative from 2nd January 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the loading and unloading works (which are anticipated to be of a 1 day duration on each occasion).

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) (NO.2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:-
1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Nottingham Street from St. Johns Lane to the common boundary line of No.18 and No.20 Nottingham Street; and
2. to suspend, temporarily, when appropriate signs are covered, the existing one way traffic working in a north westerly direction in Nottingham Street, so as to give effect to the alternative route as a consequence of item 1. above and allow access and egress for works vehicles.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 15th December 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 15th December 2025 and 17th December 2025).

(LUDLOW CLOSE, COREY CLOSE AND BURNELL DRIVE FOOTPATHS, ST. PAULS, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of Ludlow Close, Corey Close and Burnell Drive Footpaths specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
Exemption will be provided in the Order for pedestrians requiring necessary access to premises situated on, adjacent to or accessible only from the closed lengths of footpath as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath and will be operative from 15th December 2025 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 15th December 2025 and 28th January 2026).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: St. Nicholas Road, Ludlow Close, Ludlow Close, Corey Close and Burnell Drive Footpaths (part unaffected), St. Pauls Gardens Footpath and vice versa
