What is happening?

(Fishbourne: Old Park Lane, Salthill Road & Mill Lane)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:(i) Old Park Lane between the A259 and Old Park House; and then (ii) Salthill Road between Newport Drive and Roman Way; and then
(iii) Mill Lane between the A259 and Mill Close
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst essential gas mains replacement works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 8 December 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on Old Park Lane on or after 8 December 2025 and will take 8 weeks to complete. Works will then commence on Salthill Road and will take 5 weeks to complete. Works will then commence on Mill Lane to be completed on 27 March 2026

(Barnham & Eastergate: Eastergate Lane)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Eastergate Lane in the parish of Barnham & Eastergate from its junction with the A29, eastwards for 600M. The road closure is needed to allow new sewer connections to be installed in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 8 December 2025 and remain in force until 19 December 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order the affected length of road will be closed in short sections as works progress. Alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Sidlesham: Mapsons Lane)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Mapsons Lane.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains works are undertaken.
The Order came into effect on 24 November 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on 24 November 2025 and will take 3 weeks to complete.

(A286 Bepton Road Amendment) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of their powers under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, WSCC, made a permanent Order the effect of which will be to extend the prohibition of waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on both sides of the A286 Bepton Road from the junctions with Ashfield Road and Pretoria Avenue westwards to Heathfield Gardens.
The Order will come into operation on 24 November 2025. Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 25 September 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
