Middlesbrough - Multiple Road Closures
What is happening?
THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MIDDLESBROUGH (WINTER PARADES AND PROCESSIONS) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2025
WHEREAS the lengths of road specified in the Schedule hereto will be liable to be obstructed on the following dates at the times specified:

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough pursuant to the powers conferred on it by Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 HEREBY ORDERS that those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Order will be closed to all vehicular traffic except for emergency services’ vehicles on the dates and between the times specified above. An additional exemption for motorcycles will apply in the case of Event no. 1, the Boundary 500 Santa Run.
The temporary road closures are necessary for matters of public safety during the events as listed.
Diversion routes will be signed on site where required, as specified in the Schedule. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
