What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Stump Cross to Aldborough,
Boroughbridge, Order 2025, No. 467 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using
Stump Cross to Aldborough, Boroughbridge for a temporary period (subject to access to premises)
between 08/12/25 & 14/12/25, due to section 278 works. However, the max duration of this Order is
until 22/12/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, No 45, Order 2026 Notice is hereby
given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3),
4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) & Part IV of Schedule 9
to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) & of all other enabling
powers, & after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part Ill of Schedule 9
to the 1984 Act by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Waiting Prohibited At All
Times With Exemptions B6265/5/85 York Road, Boroughbridge, From a point 14m Northwest of the
Centre Line of Greenways, along the Northern kerb Line. To a point 23.5m away in a South Easterly
Direction. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of
the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall,

Disabled Person’s Parking Bays, No.16 Har, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that The North
Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic
Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to introduce the restrictions specified in the table
below:- Table - Waiting Prohibited At Any Time Except For Disabled Badge Holders
Aismunderby Road, Ripon (U3081/2/50), South West side from a point 17m Southeast of the centre
line of Wakeman Road along the Western Kerb Line of Aismunderby Road, to a point 6.6m away in a
Southerly direction. Bridge View Road, Ripon (U2998/2/30), North West side from a point 10m
Southwest of the centre line of Hutton View Road along the Northern Kerb Line of Bridge View Road,
to a point 6.6m away in an Easterly direction. Kingwood, Markington (U2937/2/30), North East side
from the Eastern Boundary of number 21 to a point 6.6m away in a Westerly direction measured

Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge, Parking & Waiting, No 63, Order 2025 Notice
is hereby given that on 14/11/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1),
2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the
1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to introduce the
following restrictions in the table below:- Table - Schedule 1 - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With
Exemptions Skipton Road (A59), Harrogate, North side from a point 34 metres West of its junction
with Oak Beck Road to a point 89 metres West of its junction with Oak Beck Road. Skipton Road
(A59), Harrogate, North side from a point 21 metres West of its junction with Oak Beck Road to its
junction with Ripon Road (A61). Skipton Road (A59), Harrogate, South side from a point 10 metres
West of its junction with Euclid Avenue to a point 19 metres East of its junction with Euclid Avenue.
Skipton Road (A59), Harrogate, South side from a point 24.5 metres West of its junction with Electric
Avenue to its junction with Ripon Road (A61). Schedule 2 – Revocations North Yorkshire County
Council (Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge) (Parking & Waiting) (No.16) Order 2013 -
In so far as it relates to Schedule 1 (No waiting at any time), items; 2102, 2104, 2105 & 2106 (Skipton
Road, Harrogate). A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 24/11/25, together with a map
showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library,
Victoria Avenue, Harrogate HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 20/11/25 to 26/12/25 & also
viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulationorders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on
the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has
not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 14/11/25 make application
to the High Court for the purpose.
20 Mph & 30 Mph Speed Limits, Various Roads, Roecliffe, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that
The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to
prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on any length of road
specified in Schedule 1 below & in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified in Schedule 2
below & to revoke the Traffic Regulation Order ‘North Yorkshire County Council (Restricted Road)
(C263, Roecliffe) Order 1996’ insofar as it relates to Schedule 1 as detailed in Schedule 3 below :-
Schedule 1 - 20 mph Speed Limit Bar Lane C263/2/70 Roecliffe, Both sides from a point 10m south
east of the boundary line of property number 1 of Orchard Cottages for a distance of 426.5m in a
north westerly direction. Unnamed Road (U3622/1/50) Roecliffe, Both sides in its entirety. Schedule
2 - 30 Mph Speed Limit Bar Lane C263/2/70 Roecliffe, Both sides from a point 20m north east of it’s
junction with Sheaflands Lane in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 164.7m. Bar Lane
C263/2/70 Roecliffe, Both sides from a point 10m south east of the boundary line of property number
1 of Orchard cottages for a distance of 1108.8m in a south easterly direction Schedule 3 –
Revocations North Yorkshire County Council (Restricted Road) (C263, Roecliffe) Order 1996 - In so
far as it relates to Schedule 1, C263, Bar Lane: From a point 20 metres north east of its junction with
Sheaflands Lane in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 1700 metres. A copy of the draft
Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library,
Victoria Avenue, HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 20/11/25 until 12/12/25 & also viewed
online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
