What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Main
Street, Little Smeaton, Order 2025 No 438 We have made made this
Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Main Street, Little Smeaton
due to works / potential danger to the public, serious damage to the
footpath, little clearing & cleaning. It is envisaged that the restriction will be
in force from 24/11/25 until 27/02/26 inclusive, however the max duration of
this Order will be until 27/03/26. The restriction period will only apply as

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Mount Pleasant, Little Smeaton,
Order 2025, No. 441 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from
using Mount Pleasant, Little Smeaton for a temporary period (subject to
access to premises) between 24/11/25 & 27/02/26, due to drainage works.
However, the max duration of this Order is until 27/03/26. The closure
period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, New Lane, Beal, Order 2025, No. 472
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using New Lane,
Beal for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between
08/12/25 & 16/12/25, due to Yorkshire Water works. However, the max
duration of this Order is until 08/03/26. The closure period will be indicated
by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where

20 Mph Zone & 30 Mph Speed Limit, Various Roads, Cliffe, Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make
an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to
prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on
any length of road specified in Schedule 1 below & in excess of 30 mph in
any length of road specified in Schedule 2 below:- Schedule 1 - 20mph
Zone Hull Road (U1473), For its entirety. William Jacques Drive, For its
entirety. The Shrubberies, For its entirety. Main Street, For its entirety.
Turnham Lane, From its junction with Hull Road in a westerly direction for
30 metres. Schedule 2 - 30mph Speed Limit Turnham Lane, From a point
30 metres west of its junction with Hull Road in a westerly direction for 513
metres. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads
affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the
Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Selby Library, 52
Micklegate, Selby YO8 4EQ during normal office hours from 06/11/25 until
27/11/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or
www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to object to the
proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing
addressed to The North Yorkshire Council, Traffic Management, County
Hall, Racecourse Lane, Northallerton, DL7 8AD or by email to
