Ambarrow Lane, Crowthorne - Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Patching Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(AMBARROW LANE, CROWTHORNE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Ambarrow Lane, Crowthorne between Lower Sandhurst Road and Ambarrow Lodge.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via A321 Wokingham Road, A321 High Street, Lower Church Road, Lower Sandhurst Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works.
The Order came into operation on the 25th November 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. It is currently planned that the closure will be in place on 25th November 2025 from 09:30 until 18:00.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
