Carters Hill, Wokingham - Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Patching Works

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CARTERS HILL, WOKINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

a) Carters Hill, Wokingham between Billingbear Lane and Church Hill.

The alternative route for this closure is Billingbear Lane, B3018 Church Hill and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works.

The Order came into operation on the 24th November 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. It is currently planned that the closure will be in place on 24th November 2025 from 09:30 until 18:00.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
