Oriental Road, Sunninghill - Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Patching Works

What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(ORIENTAL ROAD (PART), SUNNINGHILL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2025

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-

Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Oriental Road from its junction with B3020 Sunninghill Road to its junction with Upper Village Road.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Upper Village Road, School Road and B3020 Sunninghill Road.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate work in the said road, namely carriageway patching works, and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order shall be in operation between 09:00 hours and 15:00 hours on Friday 5th December 2025. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
