What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PENNWOOD LANE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Pennwood Lane in both directions from its junction with Sedgley Road to outside 3 Pennwood Lane.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken 24 November 2025 until from 26 November 2025.
The diversion route is: Church Hill, Wakeley Hill and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a new supply by National Grid.
