TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:

Temporary Road Closure:

To temporarily prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on a length of highway, on that section of the U6109 St Marys Field from the rear of 51 to 55 St Marys Field for a distance of 23 metres in the county of Northumberland (“the Road”), to excavate to repair a leak on the hydrant.

An alternative route shall be available for use whilst the Emergency Road Closure Notice is in force being St Marys Field, Spelvit Lane and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on 17th November 2025 and will remain in force until the 21st November 2025.
