Cow Lane, Moss Drive and Stown Treet, Bramcote - Prohibition of Waiting
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COW LANE, MOSS DRIVE AND STOWN TREET, BRAMCOTE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (5375)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Bramcote in the Borough of Broxtowe:
1. Vehicles will be Prohibited from Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road:-
COW LANE, BRAMCOTE (the north-west side)
• From its junction with Town Street in a north-easterly direction for 8 metres (the south-east side)
• From its junction with Town Street in a north-easterly direction for 12 metres
MOSS DRIVE, BRAMCOTE (the north-west side)
• From its junction with Town Street in a south-westerly direction for 13 metres (the south-east side)
• From its junction with Town Street in a south-westerly direction for 14 metres
TOWN STREET, BRAMCOTE (the north-east side)
• From a point 11 metres north-west of its junction with Cow Lane in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south east of that junction (the south-west side)
• From a point 9 metres north-west of its junction with Cow Lane in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south east of that junction

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 18th December 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.

The proposed restrictions are being introduced to deal with inconsiderate and obstructive parking at these junctions.
