Enfield, Temporary Waiting & Loading Restrictions Due To Highway Works

What is happening?

ARGLE ROAD, ASCOT ROAD, BEACONSFIELD ROAD, BRETTENHAM ROAD, FELIXSTOWE ROAD, BROOKFIELD ROAD, LANSFIELD AVENUE, NORTH AVENUE, SEBASTOPOL ROAD - TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential highway works on the roads detailed in the Schedule to this notice, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Enfield (Various Streets) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) (No. 2) Order 2025 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to temporarily:

(i) prohibit traffic from waiting and loading at any time in the streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, as and when directed by traffic signs.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services’ vehicles.

Waiting and Loading Restrictions between December 2025 and February 2026*

Argle Road N9 Ascot Road N9 Beaconsfield Road N9
North Avenue N9 Lansfield Avenue, N9
Brettenham Road N9, from its junction with Fore Street N9 and Baxter Road N9 Sebastopol Road N9 from its junctions with Fore Street to No. 20/22 Sebastopol Road Felixstowe Road N9, between its junctions with Brettenham Road N9 and Brookfield Road N9

*The exact dates and times the restrictions will come into operation will be indicated by the placement of signage erected prior to the start of the works in each street.
