The County of Cornwall (Helston) (Various Roads) (Restrictions on Waiting) (Amendment) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 18th day of November 2025 Cornwall Council made the above Order operational from 24th day of November 2025 to regulate traffic in Helston. The effect is to introduce, revoke and amend waiting restrictions as specified below. 

The Order and relevant documents are available for public inspection during normal office hours at Reception, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY. Alternatively, please telephone 01872 327250 or email traffic@cormacltd.co.uk to obtain further information. Please quote reference Infra22-181 on all correspondence.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision thereof on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 18th day of November 2025, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Church Hill at junction with Tenderah Road; Church Street at junction with Penrose Road; Park An Harvey at junction with Godolphin Road; Penrose Road sections between Brixton Terrace and Church Street; Tenderah Road at junction with Church Hill; Water Ma Trout (east spur) opposite access to Units 5a-5c & 6a-6c; Water Ma Trout north spur sections outside Jewsons and Fourth Element.

Penrose Road outside Nos 4-14.

Removal of No waiting Mon-Sat 9am-6pm

Wendron Street outside No 48.

Removal of Limited waiting Mon-Sat 9am-6pm 30 minutes no return within 1 hour
Penrose Road at junction with Brixton Terrace; Wendron Street outside Nos 28-40.

Removal of Limited waiting Mon-Sat 7am-6pm 30 minutes no return within 1 hour Wendron Street outside Nos 44-46.
