Duns: Cairnbank and Broomdykes - Temporary Closing

(D46/6 CAIRNBANK, DUNS) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D46/6 Cairnbank, Duns) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 24 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 28 November 2025. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D46/6 at Cairnbank, Duns.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D46/6, A6105, A6112, C101 and D46/6 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(D73/6 & D79/6 BROOMDYKES, DUNS)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D73/6 & D79/6 Broomdykes, Duns) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months,  will come into force on 24 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 26 November 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day.  The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D73/6 & D79/6 at Broomdykes, Duns.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D73/6, B6460, B6437 and D79/6 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
