What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(CORSTORPHINE CONNECTIONS)
(TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/118

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate active travel streetscape improvement works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of (i) Manse Rd, from the extended north kerbline of Corstorphine High St, northwards for 44m; (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: (i) Featherhall Ave, west side, (1) from the extended north kerbline of Corstorphine High St, northwards for 115m; and (2) from the extended north kerbline of Featherhall Ave (access rd to 28-34) northwards for a distance of 55m; (ii) Featherhall Ter, north side, (1) from the extended east kerbline of Featherhall Ave, eastwards for 108m; and (2) from the extended east kerbline of Featherhall Pl eastwards for 82m; and (iii) Manse Rd, both sides, from the extended north kerbline of Corstorphine High St, northwards for 44m. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Manse Rd is: Corstorphine High St, Featherhall Ave, Featherhall Ter and Manse Rd. The Order shall have effect from 24/11/25 to 09/01/26.
