Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

CHASE SIDE EN2 - 4664

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

  • Operational Date and times:

    “At any time” on 24th November 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

  • The general effect of the Order would be:

    To suspend parking on this road, east side, from No. 133 to the junction with Parsonage Lane.

HAZELWOOD LANE, CONNAUGHT GARDENS N13 - 4665

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

  • Operational Date and times:

    “At any time” on 26th November 2025 for 8 weeks or until works are completed.

  • The general effect of the Order would be to:

    Hazelwood Lane N13 - suspend parking between its junctions with Connaught Gardens and Callard Avenue on both sides of the carriageway;

    Connaught Gardens N13 – suspend parking from a point between Nos. 6/8 and Nos. 61/63 on both sides of the carriageway.

UPLANDS PARK ROAD, POSTERN GREEN EN2 - 4666

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

  • Operational Date and times:

    “At any time” on 1st December 2025 for 14 days or until works are completed.

  • The general effect of the Order would be to:

    Uplands Park Road EN2 - suspend parking between Nos. 11-23 on both sides of the road; and

    Postern Green EN2 – suspend parking from its junction with Uplands Park Road, eastwards, for approximately 50 metres on both sides of the road.

ABERDEEN ROAD, EDINBURGH ROAD, KINGS ROAD N18 - 4668

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

  • Operational Date and times:

    “At any time” on 1st December 2025 for 7 days or until works are completed.

  • The general effect of the Order would be to:

    Aberdeen Road N18 - suspend parking, north side, between Nos. 2 - No.s 10/11; and

    Edinburgh Road N18 – suspend parking, east side, from its junction with Aberdeen Road northwards, for approximately 20m;

    Kings Road N18 - suspend parking, south side, from its junction with Edinburgh Road, westwards for approximately 30m.

EAST DUCK LEES LANE, SUEZ ROAD EN3 – 4670

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

  • Operational Date and times:

    East Duck Lees Lane

    “At any time” on 2nd December 2025 for 17 days or until works are completed.

    Suez Road

    “At any time” on 2nd December 2025 at any time, for 17 days or until works are completed.

    East Duck Lees Lane

    “At any time” on 5th January 2026 for 25 days or until works are completed.

    Northampton Road

    “At any time” on 2nd December 2025, for 17 days or until works are completed.

  • The general effect of the Order would be to:

    East Duck Lees Lane – close this road and suspend parking, north side, between No.s 2 - No.s 10/11; and

    Suez Road – close this road and suspend parking, east side, from its junction with Aberdeen Road northwards, for approximately 20m;

    East Duck Lees Lane – close this road and suspend parking from its junction with Mollison Avenue to the junction with Northampton Road

    Northampton Road - suspend parking from its junction with East Duck Lees Lane to a point 45 metres to the north.

    Whilst these roads are closed local diversions will be in place.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Access would be maintained only as far as the works allow
