Footpath No 11 The Hermitage Southcroft Road, Gosport - Temporary Footpath Closure due to pole replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the footpath.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Footpath No 11 The Hermitage Southcroft Road between its junction with Southcroft Road and its junction with Middlecroft Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Middlecroft Lane, Kingston Road, Southcroft Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 11th December 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The footpath closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out a pole replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order or the associated works, please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
