GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401403 FIELD LANE (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401403 Field Lane from its junction with Elstub Lane to outside the property known as ‘Number 10’ for a distance of approximately 115 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 27th November 2025 until 17:00hrs on 28th November 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS

CCA 32, CCA 33 AND CCA 34 (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the footpaths as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

Part of Public Footpath CCA 32 from its junction with CCA 28 extending in a generally easterly direction for approximately 120 metres to a point along Public Footpath CCA 28.

Public Footpath CCA 33 from its junction with CCA 28 extending in a generally southerly easterly direction for approximately 270 metres to its junction with public footpath CCA 34.

Public Footpath CCA 34 from its junction with CCA 32 extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 390 metres to its junction with Class 5 public highway Court Farm.

The paths fall within the Parish of Cam, Stroud District, Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to protect the public whist the construction of a large housing development is undertaken.

The said Public Footpaths are expected to be closed from 25th November 2025 until 25th May 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site 2 weeks prior to any closure taking effect.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency access and pedestrian access to adjoining properties will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401210 WRAGG CASTLE LANE

(PITCHCOMBE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401210 Wragg Castle Lane Road from its junction with Cheltenham Road to outside the property known as ‘Wragg Castle Farm’ for a distance of approximately 160 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole replacement works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS

(MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for new broadband connection works.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing from

25th November 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. Some roads will be closed overnight and others during the day. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 26th November 2025, or until the said works have been completed.

(CAINSCROSS TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407550 Foxmoor Lane Road from its junction with Hunters Way to its junction with Glynfield Rise for a distance of approximately 500 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safety during the installation of overhead fibre cabling.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 24th November 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

PUBLIC PATH CREATION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER – S26 HIGHWAYS ACT 1980/ S53 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

PUBLIC FOOTPATH CONNECTING FESTIVAL ROAD AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH MST10 STONEHOUSE PARISH

CREATION ORDER 2025

The above Order made on 28 October 2025 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A (2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed, will create the following length of public footpath: A length of public footpath connecting Festival Road and Public Footpath MST10 in the parish of Stonehouse in the County of Gloucestershire that commences at its junction with highway number 42483 known as Festival Road at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO8027/0539 and extends in an east south easterly direction for approximately 45 metres to OSGR SO8031/0537 at its junction with Public Footpath MST10 and having a width of 1.5 metres at OSGR SO8027/0539 adjacent to the vehicle gate and then a width of 2 metres.

Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Gloucestershire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407566 Horns Road from its junction with Spider Lane to its junction with Trinity Road for a distance of approximately 400 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works to lay a new gas pipe.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C267 The Butts Road from outside the property known as ‘Inglenook Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘Northside’ for a distance of approximately 180 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for column replacement works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C225 ROAD FROM ARLINGHAM TO THE REDDINGS LODGE

(ARLINGHAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C225 Road from Arlingham to the Reddings Lodge from outside of the property known as ‘Colthill Cottage’ to outside of the property known as ‘Milton End’ for a distance of approximately 840 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 10:00am and 14:00pm on 1st December 2025 only. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the road as described in the schedule below.
