(TEMPORARY PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Heddon-on-the-Wall Public Bridleway Number 24, in the County of Northumberland.

The route is described as follows:

From a point 315 metres south of Loudside Farmhouse in a northerly direction for a distance of 375 metres to a point on the U9037 road 35 metres north of Loudside Farmhouse.

There is an alternative route available from a point 315 metres south of Loudside Farmhouse in a northerly direction for a distance of 380 metres to a point 55 metres north-east of Loudside Farmhouse.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th December 2025 until the 8th June 2026.

U6114 ALEXANDRA ROAD BACK LANE, MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER NUMBER 2 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6114 Alexandra Road Back Lane from its junction with U6114 Alexandra Road To East View for a distance of 139 metres in a south-easterly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 15th December 2025 until the 16th December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 15th December 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 16th December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Alexandra Road To East View, East View, Edward Street and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6114 Windmill Way, Allery Banks Morpeth from its junction with Morpeth Town Castle Morpeth Footpath 006 heading in south easterly direction for a distance of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 26th November 2025 until the 5th December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th November 2025 until the 28th November 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th December 2025.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.

•    U3110  Gordon Terrace from outside the front of number 1 Gordon terrace heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 10 metres.

•    U3110  Queen Street from its point with Gordon Terrace heading in a north westerly direction for a length of 12 metres. The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 24th December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 10th December 2025 however it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th December 2025.

There is no alternative route available.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to connect a new service to the main. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

C169 ELILAW TO GLANTON AND
ALNHAMMAIN ROAD ALNHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 25th November 2025 until the 6th December 2025.

Road closures

C169 Elilaw To Glanton from its junction with C169 Alnham Main Road, Alnham heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 2829 metres.

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th November 2025 until the 27th November 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C169, U4010, U4009, U4012 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C169 Alnham Main Road from its junction with C169 Elilaw To Glanton heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 688 metres.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th November 2025 until the 26th November 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C169, C172, U4009, U4010 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Dutton Traffic for overhead pole maintenance. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

C312 BARDON MILL TO
BRADLEYGATE BARDON MILL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C312 Bardon Mill to Bradleygate Bardon Mill 77 metres eastwards from its junction with C307 Park Lane heading further eastwards for a distance of 31 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 24th November 2025 until the 5th December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th November 2025 until the 28th November 2025 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C312, A69, U7070, C311, U7058, U7059 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to rectify a defective reinstatement. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

U3044 ACKLINGTON ROAD BACK LANE AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3044 Acklington Road Back Lane Amble from outside the rear of number 54 Acklington Road heading in a north westerly direction for a length of 18 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 24th November 2025 until the 1st December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th November 2025 until the 28th November 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Bisley Road, Westfield Amble and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to renew service due to lead content. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

C16 OLD DRYBURN JUNCTION TO
HOLY ISLAND CAUSEWAY BEAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C16 Old Dryburn Junction to Holy Island Causeway Beal 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective on the 25th November 2025. It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 25th November 2025 between of 00:05 hours and 06:00 hours.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM to lift out the level crossing on the up main only and to repair poor top fault through the area. (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County

Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3014 Dunstan Square to Embleton Links Embleton from its point with Embleton Alnwick District Footpath 016 heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 35 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 12th December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 5th December 2025and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 12th December 2025.

There is no alternative route available.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C179 Road from Lairds Cottage C179 to Woodside Cottage U402 from its junction with U4029 Burradon Junction to Sharpeton Junction heading in a north easterly direction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 26th November 2025 until the 5th December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th November 2025 until the 27th November 2025 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C179, C172, C176, C178, B6341, U4084 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the U3134 Straffen Court Amble in its entirety.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th December 2025 until the 8th May 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th December 2025 until the 11th December 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th May 2026.

There is no alternative route available for vehicular traffic.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1104 Broomey Road Wooler from its junction with U1078 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 30 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 15th December 2025 until the 22nd December 2025

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th December 2025 until 16th December 2025 between the hours of 09:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U1078, U111, U1104 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C181 CARTERSIDE ROAD NEWTOWN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions have continued to be in force on the C181 Carterside Road Newtown in the County of Northumberland.

Temporary Road Closure:-

A temporary road closure has continued to be in force and all users will be prohibited to use the following road in the County of Northumberland:-

• C181 Carterside Road Newtown from a point at the front of  West Newton Farm heading south eastwards for a distance of 85 metres.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C181, the B6342, the U4035, the U4061 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on the 12th November 2025 and will remain in force until the 28th November 2025. It is expected however that the works will take place from the 12th November 2025 until the 20th November 2025.
