ORDER 20

NOTICE** is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes

to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Orders

further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Various

Roads – South Oxfordshire) (Map Based) (Prohibition and

Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021,

and the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads – Vale

of White Horse District excluding the Parish of North

Hinksey) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of

Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021, with the effect

of removing Disabled Persons Parking Places (DPPPs) as

shown in A below, providing new DPPPs as shown in B,

formalising advisory DPPPs as shown in C and relocating

DPPPs as shown in D.

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than the end of 19 December 2025.

The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Tiddington, Albury View

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 17 November 2025

Coming into force: 24 November 2025

This Order is being introduced because of BDUK fibre cabling works which are anticipated to be completed 5 December 2025. This is a 24 hour daily road closure. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the southern section of Albury View leading to Hilltop – Hazle Cottage. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Goring Heath, Unnamed Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 17 November 2025

Coming into force: 21 November 2025

This Order is being introduced because of excavation to install fibre cable ducting works which are anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the unnamed road running south-westwards from Collins End to Oak Cottages E. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The diversion will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Grove, Denchworth Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 1/12/2025

Coming into force: 8/12/2025

This Order is being introduced because of works to remove non-compliant boundary and install palisade fencing which are anticipated to take until 19/12/2025 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the Denchworth to Grove road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via Brook Lane, Hyde Road, Main Street, School Road, Mill Orchard, Summertown, A338, Oxford Lane, Denchworth Road and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
