What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(WINDMILL ROAD, FLITWICK)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Windmill Road, Flitwick for 20m either side of railway bridge.

This temporary closure is required to enable monitoring equipment removal work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 2300hrs on 10 to 0700hrs on 11 December 2025 The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via A5120, Steppingley Rd and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 10 December 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(GRAVENHURST ROAD, SHILLINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Gravenhurst Rd, Shillington between Old mill road and bury road.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 9 to 11 December 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Campton Rd, Meppershall Rd, Upton End Rd and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 9 December 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(NORTHWOOD END ROAD, HAYNES)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Northwood End Road, Haynes between 61 and 71A.

This temporary closure is required to enable tactile footpath works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 8 to 14 December 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via High Road, Silver End Road and vice versa

The Order will come into operation on 8 December 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(THE HILL, BLUNHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of The Hill, Blunham between numbers 4 to 73.

This temporary closure is required to enable infilteration work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 24 to 28 November 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via High St, Tempsford Rd, Blunham Lane, Tempsford Rd, A1, A603, The Ridgeway, Station Rd.

The Order will come into operation on 24 November 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(STATION ROAD, LIDLINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Station Road, Lidlington from number 2A to number 8.

This temporary closure is required to enable blockage clearance works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 27 November 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Sheeptick End, Bedford Road, A507, High Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 27 November 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
