What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(PANTOMIME, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING BAY & TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily;

i. Prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along the south westerly side of Lance Corporal Joel Halliwell VC Way, from a point 54 metres south east of a point opposite the south easterly kerb line of Old Hall Street, for a distance of 52 metres in a south easterly direction,
ii. Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Middleton Township) Order 2008) (Amendment) (No.43) Order 2017

South westerly side from a point 54 metres south east of a point opposite the south easterly kerb line of Old Hall Street for a distance of 52 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate coach parking for attendees of the Middleton Arena Pantomime event.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 17.00 hours each day from the 25th November 2025 until 28th November 2025, from the 1st December 2025 until 5th December 2025, from the 9th December 2025 until 12th December 2025 and from the 15th December 2025 until 18th December 2025.

(MOUNT ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Mount Road from its junction with Manchester New Road for a distance of 45 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate required BT works within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 20.00 hours on the 11th December 2025 until 06:00 hours on the 12th December 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Mount Road, Brierley Drive, Farmway, Manchester New Road and vice versa.
