Beverley Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Installation Of A New Water Supply Connection Works

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
BEVERLEY ROAD, SOUTH CAVE (PART)
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Beverley Road, South Cave (between Steep Hill and The Lea). The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed installation of a new water supply connection works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5 December 2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Beverley Road, Market Place, Station Road, Kettlethorpe Hill, West Hill, Brick Dike Lane, Welton Road, Steep Hill to Riplingham Road and Swinescaife Road, South Cave. The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services. The Order will commence Monday 1 December 2025 (between 08.00 hours and 20.00 hours) and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
