Lark’s Lane - Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles To Curb Installation Works

What is happening?

SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNCIL

(Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles the entire length of Lark’s Lane.

This order was required for the following reason: in connection with entrance widening and curb installation works.

The order became operative from 24 November 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 weeks duration. No alternative route available.
