What is happening?

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL
(ARBOURTHORNE, SHEFFIELD) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT)
(MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Section 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the whole or on parts of Barnes Court, Beeches Drive, Beldon Close, Beldon Court, Beldon Place, Beldon Road, Beldon Road Unnamed Access Road, Belmonte Gardens, Castle Croft Drive, Claywood Drive, Claywood Road, Cutlers Court, Donnington Road, Essex Road, Farm Bank Road, Fitzwalter Road, Glencoe Drive, Glencoe Place, Glencoe Road, Grafton Street, Guildford Avenue, Guildford Rise, Holdings Road, Ingram Court, Ingram Road, Medway Close, Mersey Way, Norfolk Park Avenue, Norfolk Park Drive, Norfolk Park Road, Norfolk Road, Park Grange Croft, Park Grange Drive, Park Grange Road (Access Road), Samuel Close, Samuel Drive, Samuel Place, Samuel Road, Seabrook Road, St Aidan’s Avenue, St Aidan’s Place, St Aidan’s Road, St Benedict Court, Stafford Lane, Stafford Road, Stafford Street, Talbot Gardens, Talbot Place, Talbot Road, Thames Avenue and Tylney Road.

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may also be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH.

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Order, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent through the email address provided or in writing to the undersigned by 18 December 2025.
