What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CROWTHER STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Crowther Street from outside properties 4 to 26.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 1 December 2025 until 5 December 2025.
The diversion route is: Nine Elms Lane, Stratton Street, Prosser Street.
The Order is required to facilitate a new service connection by Severn Trent Water.
