TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A610 RIPLEY ROAD, AMBERGATE

WHEN: 08 December (22:00) to 10 December 2025 (06:00).
WHERE: A610 Ripley Road, Ambergate from its Jct. with A6 Derby Road, Ambergate for an approx. distance of 155m east.
REASON: To facilitate urgent removal of declining trees and vegetation.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A610 Ripley Rd, Harstshay Interchange, A610 Ripley Bypass / Coach Rd / Nottingham Rd /Glasshouse Hill / High Street, A6007 Heanor Rd / High St/ Loscoe Rd, A608 Derby Rd / Heanor Rd / Main Rd, A609 Dobholes Ln /Church Ln / Main St / Woodhouse Rd / Bywell Ln/ Rawson Green / Kilburn Ln / Nottingham Rd /Cheapside, A6 Bridge St/ Matlock Rd / Derby Rd and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
