THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (TAPTON VIEW ROAD, BROCKWELL LANE, PURBECK AVENUE, NEWBOLD ROAD AND DUNSTON LANE, CHESTERFIELD) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that, on the 13th November 2025 the Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the 24th November 2025 and its effect is:TO PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME BY VEHICLES (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING) ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Tapton View Road
North Side
From its junction with Crown Road, in a westerly direction for a distance of 6.5 metres.
From its junction with Crown Road, in an easterly direction for a distance of 5 metres.
School Access Road to Christ Church C of E School
Both Sides
From the junction with Tapton View Road, in a southerly direction for a distance of 6 metres.
Crown Road
West Side
From its junction with Tapton View Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of 4 metres.
East Side
From its junction with Tapton View Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of 5 metres.
Brockwell Lane
North Side
From a point 20 metres northwest of its junction with Malvern Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of 6 metres.
Purbeck Avenue
North Side
From its junction with Wenlock Crescent, to its junction with Nevis Close.
South Side
From its junction with Wenlock Crescent, in a north easterly direction for a distance of 41 metres.
Newbold Road – B6051
Northeast Side
From a point 34 metres southeast of its junction with East Side Newbold Road (U3194), in a south-easterly direction for 33 metres.
Dunston Lane
West Side
From a point 52.56 metres south of its junction with Keswick Drive, in a southerly direction for a distance of 19.44 metres.
Dunston Lane (Access Road to 13 -39)
Both Sides
From its junction with Dunston Lane, in an easterly direction for a distance of 43 metres.

From a point 72 metres south of its junction with Keswick Drive, in a southerly direction for a distance of 25.56 metres.Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked. quoting reference Z3433, until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 25th December 2025. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 13th November 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
