TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has made “The Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Stornoway) (20mph Speed Limit) Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order 2025” under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will apply between Monday 1st December 2025 and Monday 24th May 2027.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving or causing or permitting to be driven any vehicles on the following roads, or sections of road where specified, at a speed exceeding 20mph:

Canada Crescent
Churchill Drive
Columbia Place

Fleming Place
Gibson Gardens
Goathill Crescent
Goathill Road India Street

Perceval Road (from a point 10m southeast of the Sand Street junction south easterly for 200m or thereby)

Smith Avenue (from the Goathill Road junction south easterly for 330m or thereby)
