What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(LINCOLN GREEN) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on the following stretches of road:
· Lincoln Green closed from FP015 to outside
number 10. It is anticipated that the closure will
operate from 1 December 2025 until 19 December
2025. Vehicle diversion route: Lincoln Green and
vice versa.
· Lincoln Green closed from FP015 to outside
number 11. It is anticipated that the closure will
operate from 4 January 2026 until 9 January 2026.
Vehicle diversion route: Lincoln Green and vice
versa.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken between the dates detailed above.
The Order is required to facilitate the connection of
water services as part of Wolverhampton Homes
redevelopment scheme by DSS Civils Ltd.
