THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (SHIRLAND, HIGHAM, MICKLEY, MORTON, PILSLEY, WINGERWORTH) (NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that, on the 13th November 2025 the Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the 24th November 2025 and its effect is:PROHIBTION OF WAITING – NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Aspen Rise, Shirland
North East Side
From a point 54 metres east of its junction with Lilac Way, in a southerly direction for a distance of 12 metres. Lilac Way, Shirland Both Sides
From its junction with Hallfieldgate Lane, in a northerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
Hallfieldgate Lane, Shirland
North Side
From a point 10 metres west from junction with Lilac Way, to a point 10 metres east of Lilac Way.
New Street, Higham

From its junction with Chesterfield Road, in a westerly direction for a distance of 14 metres.

From a point 47 metres south of its junction with Fir Tree Avenue, in a southerly direction for a distance of 13 metres.

From its junction with A61 Main Road, in an easterly direction for a distance of 28 metres.
From a point 64 metres east of its junction with the A61 Main Road, in an easterly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
Station Road, Pilsley
South East Side
From a point 5 metres south west of its junction with New Street, to a point 5 metres north east of its junction with New Street.
Hornbeam Drive, Wingerworth

From a point 200 metres west of its junction with Silver Birch Way, to its junction with A61 Derby Road.
From a point 84 metres west of its junction with Silver Birch Way, in a westerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.

the A61 Main Road, in an easterly direction for
a distance of 43.56 metres.Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked. A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, Chesterfield Central Studies Library and Clay Cross Library during opening hours and on request by emailing

quoting reference Z3434, until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 25th December 2025.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 13th November 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
