What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(EDGEHILL AVENUE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Edgehill Avenue in both directions from its junction with Underhill Lane and its junction with Wildtree Avenue.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 2 December 2025 until 10 December 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Underhill Lane, Westcroft Avenue, Wildtree Avenue, Highfield Avenue, Underhill Lane and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing by City of Wolverhampton Council.
