If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the
provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within
the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984,
or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation
to the Order you may within six weeks from the 19th day of
November 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(PARKING, STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING)
(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2018
(AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following lengths of road:-
a) Edlington Lane, Edlington
South-east side
From its intersection with the extended south-western kerbline of
Fielders Way for a distance of 64 metres in a south-westerly
direction.
b) Fielders Way, Edlington

South-west side
From its junction with Edlington Lane for a distance of 60 metres
in a south-easterly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading
goods and in connection with building industrial or demolition
operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic, the
maintenance of the roads and the services therein in pursuance
of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and delivery of
postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated by or on behalf
of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnerships while
carrying out roadside monitoring or enforcement operations. The
usual exceptions for disabled persons vehicles will also apply.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the
restricted road and a statement of the Councils reasons for

proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Council
Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the hours of 9
am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the
grounds for your objection in writing to City of Doncaster
Council, Safer Roads, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1
