Dicconson Terrace - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

What is happening?

THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CLIFTON SQUARE ICE RINK, DICCONSON TERRACE, LYTHAM ST ANNES, FYLDE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle, cycle or pedestrian (except for event participants) from proceeding over the following length of highway:
Dicconson Terrace (the central pedestrianised space) between Henry Street and Clifton Square, Lytham St Annes in the Borough of Fylde.
Access will be maintained for motor vehicles, cycles and pedestrians via the eastern and western sides of Dicconson Terrace.
The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to enable the holding of the Clifton Square Ice Rink, Lytham.
The prohibition will be operative from 1200 hours on Sunday 16th November 2025 until 2000 hours on Wednesday 7th January 2026.
