What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
Boxton Road West, Falkirk from 09:00 until 18:00 on 21/11/25. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Boxton Road West, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Rigghead Cottage in a westerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Boxton Road, C45, B8022, B825, B8028, Boxton Road or vice versa.
Greenhill Road, Bonnybridge from 20:00 on 23/11/25 until 06:00 on 21/12/25. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Greenhill Road, Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to Reilly Road in a southerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C70, C46, C15, C16 or vice versa.
Abbotsgrange Road, Grangemouth from 07.30 hours on 24/11/2025 until 17.00 hours on 30/11/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes Abbotsgrange Road for approximately. 200m from Kersiebank Avenue to Bowhouse Road.
2. The alternative route: Kersiebank Avenue, Overton Road, Bowhouse Road and vice versa.
Glenfuir Road, Falkirk from 08:00 on 24/11/25 until 16:30 on 05/12/25. The prohibition is to allow for Canal Works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Glenfuir Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Rosebank Avenue in a westerly direction for approximately 85 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is:
a) East: - B816, A9, Union Road, Lock 16, B816
b) West - B816, Lock 16, Union Road, A9 westwards, Camelon Roundabout, A9 eastwards, B816
Waverley Crescent, Grangemouth from 07.30 hours on 24/11/2025 until 17.00 hours on 28/11/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes Waverley Crescent, Grangemouth for a distance of approximately 310m from Stevenson Street to Brooke Street.
2. The alternative route: Brooke Street, Stevenson Street and vice versa.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:
Grangeburn Road, Grangemouth from 09:30 until 15:30 on 21/11/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Grangeburn Road, Grangemouth from a point adjacent to number 22 in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 120 metres or thereby.
