What is happening?

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING
RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:
- No waiting at any time on parts of Hill Street
And remove
- No waiting Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30 on parts of Hill Street
- Paid-for Parking Place Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30 on parts of Hill Street
- Permit Holders Parking Place Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30 on parts of Hill Street

- No loading At Any Time on parts of Earl Way, Matilda Street and Matilda Way
- No Waiting At Any Time on parts of Earl Way, Matilda Street and Matilda Way
- Disabled Persons’ Badge Holders Parking Places max stay 4 hours no return within 2 hours on parts of Earl Way
- A Loading Place at all times on part of Matilda Street
- Paid For Parking Places 08:00 to 20:30 on part of Matilda Street
- A Taxi Stopping Area 20:30 to 5:00 on part of Matilda Street
And remove
- No Waiting At Any Time on parts of Earl Way, Matilda Street and Matilda Way
- No Waiting 08:00 to 20:30 on part of Earl Way, Matilda Street and Matilda Way
- Paid-for Parking Places 08:00 to 20:30 on parts of Earl Way and Matilda
Street
- No Loading Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30 on part of Earl Way and
Matilda Street
- Paid For Parking Places 08:00 to 18:30 on part of Matilda Street

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may also be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH.

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Orders, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent through the web addresses provided or in writing to the undersigned by 18 December 2025.
