THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (UNNAMED FOOTPATH ADJACENT
TO FREELAND PLACE AND LUGGIEBANK ROAD, KIRKINTILLOCH)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO. 6) ORDER 2025
The East Dunbartonshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, hereby make the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as “The East Dunbartonshire Council (Unnamed
Footpath Adjacent to Freeland Place and Luggiebank Road, Kirkintilloch)
(Temporary Closure) (No. 5) Order 2025” and shall come into operation at 18.00 hours on Monday, 01 December 2025 and remain in operation until
18.00 hours on Friday, 19 December 2025.
2. N o person shall exercise or cause or permit to be exercised a pedestrian right of passage on that section of the unnamed footpath adjacent to Freeland Place and Luggiebank Road, Kirkintilloch from the point where the said unnamed footpath meets Freeland Place and Luggiebank Road, Kirkintilloch northeastwards for a distance of 55 metres or thereby to the existing underpass beneath the A806 New Lairdsland Road, Kirkintilloch, which runs adjacent to the Forth and Clyde Canal, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
