(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

LOW DINSDALE FOOTPATHS 3 & 4, MIDDLETON ST GEORGE

Darlington Borough Council made an Order on 22nd July 2024, under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which was to close:

LOW DINSDALE FOOTPATH 3

From its start between 10 and 11 Palm Tree Villas, south westwards for approximately 335 metres to the field boundary at the water park

LOW DINSDALE FOOTPATH 4

From its start between 10 and 11 Palm Tree Villas, south westwards for approximately 205 metres to the field boundary at the water park

The Order is necessary for pedestrian safety while building works take place adjacent to the footpaths.

As the works are still ongoing the Secretary of State for Transport has granted an extension of the Order until 18th May 2026 or until such time as the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
