The Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting, Loading, Stopping And Parking Places) (Map Based) Order 2025
The Council of Staffordshire proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)
1. The effect of these proposals is as follows:
TRO – 1001 The effect of the above order will be to reintroduce all static parking, waiting, loading and stopping restrictions currently enforced within the District of Stafford into a revised map-based format. There will be no material change to any of the operational specifications or dimensions of those restrictions.
Should you wish to make any observations on this proposal (whether you support or object to the proposal) you can submit these on the following website https://consultation.appyway.com/stafford or in writing to Traffic Regulation Order Team, Staffordshire Council, Tipping Street Stafford ST16 2DH within 21 days of this notice. Any objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Temporary Prohibition Of U Turn And Right Turn A34 Stone Road And Winghouse Lane, Tittensor
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to:
Prohibit ant vehicle from making a right turn onto A34 Stone Road from Winghouse Lane
Prohibit and vehicle travelling southbound on A34 Stone Road from making a right turn into Winghouse Lane
Prohibit any vehicle from travelling Northbound on A34 Stone Road from making a U Turn onto A34 Stone Road (Southbound) at the junction with Winghouse Lane
Prohibit any vehicle from travelling Southbound on A34 Stone Road from making a U Turn onto A34 Stone Road (Northbound) at the junction with Winghouse Lane

The Order will come into operation on 8/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 19/12/25.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

The Order will come into operation on 09/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 10/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new supply works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Orchard Lane, Ranton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146452730. The Order will come into operation on 08/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 19/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the highway improvement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Doley Road, Adbaston. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB145845693. The Order will come into operation on 4/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Newcastle Road (A519) Southbound & Whitmore Road (B5038) Westbound, Hanchurch. The Order will come into operation on 24/11/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 19/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 24/11/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/11/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the cabling, pole replacement and testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 25/11/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day.
