Public Footpath No.33 (Part) Long Eaton - Temporary Footpath Closure To Facilitate Public Safety During Installation Of Bridge
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.33 (PART) LONG EATON
WHEN: 01 December 2025 to 01 June 2026.
WHERE: Close footpath No.33 at SK486345.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during installation of bridge.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Use Public Footpath No.3 next to footpath No.33.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
