HADDISCOE — U76322 Rectory Road from its junction with A143 Church Hill for 50m southwards to facilitate damaged post replacement works on 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: Rectory Road, Rectory Lane, A143 Church Hill. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
KESWICK AND INTWOOD — A140 Ipswich Road from its junction with A47 J A140 Slip Off Eastbound Road for 620m northwards to facilitate bus lane works between 20:00 and 06:00 from 17th to 21st November 2025 (may continue until 2nd January 2026). Alternative route is via: Ipswich Road, Lakenham Road, Barrett Road, Martineau Lane, A146, A47 (Trowse with Newton, Keswick and Intwood, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council. NB: Please note that the works will take place between 20:00 and 06:00 each night on each of the anticipated dates.
LITCHAM — C123 Dunham Road from 116m southwest of its junction with C123 Church Street/C222 Dereham Road for 600m south-westwards to facilitate cattle grid repair works from 17th to 21st November 2025 (may continue until 2nd January 2026). Alternative route is via: C123 Dunham Road/Litcham Road, C240/C241 Beeston Road, C241 Church Road/The Street/Back Lane, C221 Mileham Road, C222 Litcham Road/Dereham Road and vice versa (Kempstone, Litcham, Beeston with Bittering, Great Dunham). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
LITTLE MELTON — C169 Great Melton Road from its junction with C169 School Lane for 380m westwards to facilitate cabling works from 17th November to 2nd December 2025 (may continue until 13th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Great Melton Road, Rectory Lane, Mill Road. The works promoter is BT.
MILEHAM — Tittleshall Road from its junction with B1145 Litcham Road for 119m northwards to facilitate carriageway repair works. The Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 31st October 2025 that the Road will be temporarily closed from 8th to 14th November 2025 (previously 3rd to 7th November 2025) (may continue until 26th December 2025). Alternative route is via: B1145 Litcham Road, U35204 Back Lane, C123 Tittleshall Road/Litcham Road, C221 Mileham Road and vice versa (Tittleshall, Litcham, Mileham). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
MORLEY — U78212 Stone Brigg from its junction with U78078 Deopham Road for 470m northwards to facilitate pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 21st November 2025 (may continue until 2nd January 2026). Alternative route is via: Stone Brigg, Morleyfield Lane, High Oak, High Oak Road, Buck’s Lane, Deopham Road (Morley, Wicklewood). The works promoter is BT.
NORTON SUBCOURSE — U76353 The Street from 91m southwest of its junction with C385 Loddon Road for 30m south-westwards to facilitate new connection works from 18th to 20th November 2025 (may continue until 1st January 2026). Alternative route is via: Loddon Road, Church Road, Croft Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
PORINGLAND — C374 Dove Lane from its junction with B1332 Norwich Road for 275m north-eastwards to facilitate carriageway repair works on 20th November 2025 (may continue until 1st January 2026). Alternative route is via: B1332 Norwich Road, The Street, Welbeck, Lower Kiln Lane, Church Road, Green Lane, Dove Lane (Poringland, Bergh Apton, Brooke, Alpington). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
SCOULTON — U33024 The Street from 300m west of its junction with C131 Woodrising Road for 50m westwards to facilitate fire hydrant replacement works from 17th to 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: C131 Woodrising Road, B1108 Norwich Road, U33024 The Street and vice versa. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
SURLINGHAM — C195 Walnut Hill from 160m west of its junction with U78016 Pond Lane for 50m westwards to facilitate stop tap replacement works from 17th to 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: Walnut Hill, Bramerton Road, Surlingham Road, The Street, Rockland Road, Bramerton Lane, Rookery Hill, Surlingham Lane, Walnut Hill, The Green (Surlingham, Rockland St. Mary, Bramerton). The works promoter is Anglian Water.
SWAFFHAM — Whitsands Road from 80m northwest of its junction with Princes Street for 50m north-westwards to facilitate stop tap replacement works from 17th to 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via:
Clockwise: C562 Lynn Road/Lynn Street, C563 Market Place, A1065 London Street, C44 Cley Road;
Anticlockwise: C44 Cley Road, U33353 Haspalls Road, A1065 London Street, C563 Market Place, C562 Lynn Street/Lynn Road.

SWAFFHAM — A1065 Castle Acre Road from its junction with New Sporle Road for 165m northwards to facilitate concrete repairs to overbridge between 20:00 on 21st November and 06:00 on 24th November 2025 (may continue until 5th January 2026).
Alternative route is via:
Diversion 1: A1065 Northbound — A1065 Castle Acre Road, A47 Westbound to A1122 Roundabout, A47 Eastbound to A1065 Slip, A1065 Castle Acre Road;
Diversion 2: A1065 Southbound — A1065 Castle Acre Road, A47 Eastbound to C562 Norwich Road Roundabout, A47 Westbound to A1065 Slip, A1065 Castle Acre Road.

WYMONDHAM — C701 Damgate Street from its junction with C700 Middleton Street for 30m southwards to facilitate new gas connection works from 17th to 18th November 2025 (may continue until 30th December 2025).
Alternative route is via: Middleton Street, Town Green, Cock Street, Melton Road, Tuttles Lane West, Tuttles Lane East, Norwich Road, Browick Road, Avenue Road, Fairland Street, Friarscroft Lane.
The works promoter is Cadent.
WYMONDHAM — U78323 Northfield Gardens from its junction with Barnham Broom Road for 130m eastwards to facilitate cabling works from 17th to 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025).
Alternative route is via: Northfield Gardens, Melton Road, Chapel Lane, Barnham Broom Road.

BURNHAM MARKET — C99 Whiteway Road from its junction with U22316 Sussex Farm Lane for 1525m north-westwards to facilitate works associated with filming on or near the road to take place from 18th to 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: Whiteway Road, Market Place, North Street, Bellamys Lane, Main Road, Norton Street (Burnham Norton, Burnham Market, Brancaster). The works promoter is Norfolk Locations. NB: Please note that Authorised Marshals will be present to permit bus access. An ‘Authorised Marshal’ is a person authorised by Norfolk County Council to monitor and ensure the safe enforcement of the effect of this Order.
DOWNHAM MARKET — 2F526 Footpath Between Victory Road and Tesco from 70m north of its junction with U20136 Victory Road for 50m northwards to facilitate electrical repair works from 17th to 21st November 2025 (may continue until 2nd January 2026). Alternative route is via: Priory Road, London Road, Footpath Fronting 85 And 87 Trafalgar Road Heading To London Road, Trafalgar Road, Footpath Between 63 And 65 Trafalgar Road Leading To Victory Road, Victory Road, Footpath Between Victory Road And Tesco. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.
FRING — C91 Bircham Road from its junction with C88 Docking Road for 50m southwards to facilitate water meter exchange works between 08:00 and 16:00 on 18th November 2025 (may continue until 30th December 2025). Alternative route is via: Bircham Road, Fring Road, Snettisham Road, Shernbourne Road (Snettisham, Fring, Bircham). The works promoter is Anglian Water.
KING’S LYNN — Tennyson Avenue at its intersection with the level crossing for 20m northwards and 20m southwards to facilitate maintenance repairs to level crossing between 00:30 and 04:30 on 17th November 2025 (may continue until 29th December 2025). Alternative route is via: Tennyson Road, Goodwins Road, Vancouver Avenue, Chase Avenue, Out South Gates, London Road, St James Road, Railway Road, Norfolk Street, John Kennedy Road, Austin Street, Littleport Street, Gaywood Road, Tennyson Avenue. The works promoter is Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
KING’S LYNN — U23679 Hardings Way from 70m south of its junction with U20545 Boal Street for 620m southwards to facilitate bus lane bollards removal works from 17th to 28th November 2025 (may continue until 9th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Saddlebow Road, Out South Gates, London Road, Millfleet, Boal Street, Hardings Way. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
KING’S LYNN — Saddlebow Road (interchange slip road) from its junction with A47 to its junction with U20340 Sydney Terrace to facilitate bus bollard removal works from 17th November to 28th November 2025 (may continue until 9th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Saddlebow Road, Morston Drift, Nar Ouse Way. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
KING’S LYNN — Spenser Road from its junction with U23783 Lynnport Way for 50m eastwards to facilitate works to reinstate a settled trench between 08:00 and 18:00 on 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: Spenser Road, Suffield Way, Dawnay Avenue, Ffolkes Drive, South Wootton Lane, Low Road, Edward Benefer Way, Hamburg Way (King’s Lynn, South Wootton). The works promoter is Bateman Groundworks Ltd.
NORTHWOLD AND WHITTINGTON — C59 High Street from 50m southeast of its junction with C60 Methwold Road for 50m south-southeastwards to facilitate new electrical connection works from 17th to 21st November 2025 (may continue until 2nd January 2026). Alternative route is via: High Street, Little London Road, Foulden Road, Thetford Road, West End. The works promoter is UK Power Network.
OUTWELL — C16 Marsh Road from 660m southeast of its junction with C17 Hall Road for 50m south-eastwards to facilitate manhole chamber, cover and frame replacement works from 17th to 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: Marsh Road, Stow Road, Langhorns Lane, Downham Road, Wisbech Road, Hall Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
TERRINGTON ST. CLEMENT — U21071 Eastgate Lane from its junction with U21098 Popes Lane for 355m southwards to facilitate dropped kerb installation and HRA patching works from 17th to 21st November 2025 (may continue until 2nd January 2026). Alternative route is via: Eastgate Lane, Sutton Road, Popes Lane. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
TERRINGTON ST. CLEMENT — C12 Waterlow Road from 45m south of its junction with C12 Moat Road for 1205m southwards to facilitate patching works from 17th to 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: Waterlow Road, Church Road, Main Road, New Road, Lynn Road, School Road, Shepherdsgate Road, Bullock Road (Tilney All Saints, Terrington St. John, Tilney St. Lawrence, Terrington St. Clement). UPWELL — 1) U21019 Stonehouse Road from its junction with U21021 Pinfold Road for 25m eastwards and 25m westwards and
2) U21021 Pinfold Road from its junction with U21019 Stonehouse Road for 25m northwards to facilitate Anglian Water meter exchange works between 08:00 and 17:00 on the 19th November 2025 (may continue until 31st December 2025). Alternative route is via: Stonehouse Road, New Road, St Peter’s Road, Brewery Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
UPWELL — U21014 Mudds Drove from its junction with the A1101 Main Road for 30m south eastwards to facilitate manhole cover, chamber and frame repair works from 18th to 20th November 2025 (may continue until 1st January 2026). Alternative route is via: Mudds Drove, Cross Drove, Silt Road, Main Road (Nordelph, Upwell). The works promoter is Anglian Water.
UPWELL — A1101/11710 Town Street from 25m east of its junction with New Road for 35m eastwards to facilitate King’s Lynn construction works for a new sewer connection from 17th to 21st November 2025 (may continue until 2nd January 2026).
Alternative route is via: Town Street, New Road, Townsend Road, Main Road, Wisbech Road, March Road, Main Street, Wash Road, Suspension Bridge, Bates Drove, A1101 Wisbech Road, A10 Lynn Road, Ferry Bank, A10 Southern Bypass/Lynn Road/Fordham Bypass/Downham Eastern Bypass, A1122 Southern Bypass. WALPOLE — U21084/12 Chalk Road from 30m northeast of its junction with Bustards Lane for 15m north eastwards to facilitate sewer connection works between 08:00 and 17:00 from 17th to 20th November 2025 (may continue until 1st January 2026).
Alternative route is via: Chalk Road, Walnut Road, Church Road. The works promoter is A G Civils Ltd.
WALPOLE — U21082 Gooses Lane from 110m northwest of its junction with C1 Eastlands Bank for 170m eastwards to facilitate overhead cable repair works from 17th to 18th November 2025 (may continue until 30th December 2025).
Alternative route is via: Gooses Lane, King John Bank, Marsh Road, Wisbech Road (Sutton Bridge, Walpole). The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
