What is happening?

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, B6270, West Stonesdale, Order 2025, No. 434
We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using the B6270 to Arkengarthdale Road at West Stonesdale from a point approximately 20 metres south of the cattle grid at the northern end of West Stonesdale Village northwards to its junction with the Arkengarthdale Road at Tan Hill for a temporary period of 2 weeks with the actual dates to be advised in due course (subject to access to premises) between 17/11/25 & 11/06/26, in order to allow the replacement of a cattle grid. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Burrill Road, Bedale, Order 2025, No. 459
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Burrill Road, Bedale for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 01/12/25 & 12/12/25, due to renewing approx. 5.9km of 8” UPVC water main to 225mm HPPE works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 01/06/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 10.152/5/1 & 10.127/9/2 Thormanby, Order 2025 No 462
We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Public Footpath 10.152/5/1 & 10.127/9/2 in the Parish of Thornaby between grid references SE48817418 & SE46727469 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 18/11/25 & 17/05/26, due to an unsafe footbridge. This Order follows a closure under Emergency Notice No 190 which commenced on 29/10/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, A684 North West Of Appersett Order 2025, No. 466.
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using approx 500 metres length of the A684 North West Of Appersett near to Moss Bridge located between Appersett and the Moorcock Inn for a temporary period (subject to access to premises), The restriction will be in force for a period of 2 weeks between 9:30 am & 3:30 pm on weekdays (dates to be confirmed) however the max duration of this order will be between 24/11/25 & 21/05/27, due to Highway Maintenance works.
