Ermine Street - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic for Appleby Level Crossing
What is happening?
NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(Ermine Street, Appleby) (Appleby Level Crossing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
On 16th July 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along Ermine St at the point of the Level Crossing. This Order took effect on 23rd July 2025 and will be effective until 22nd Jan 2027. Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works at this Level Crossing (maintenance and annual barrier test) 11.30pm 6th Dec-9.45am 7th Dec 2025 (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances). The diversion is B1207 Ermine St, A1077 Roxby Rd, A1029, A18 and reverse.
