Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Road From Penellick To Menabilly, Par) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th December 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Penellick To Menabilly, Par from junction with Lane From Penellick Cottage To Polkerris for approximately 300 metres south.

The County of Cornwall (Halgavor Road, St Marys Road, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bodmin.

This prohibition is necessary for works to inspect and de-veg railway bridge and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th December 2025 to 16th December 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Halgavor Road between No 21a and No 23, St Marys Road between No 165 and No 1 Blowinghouse Lane, Bodmin.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 8th September 2025 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Drummers Hill, St Austell from entrance to Drummers Lodge to junction with B3274 From Ruddlemoor To Bodmin Road. The Order which commenced on the 22nd September 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 28th November 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out major electrical works.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Paradise Road and Mount Pleasant, Boscastle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 17th November 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Boscastle. 

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement and cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st December 2025 to 5th December 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Paradise Road between property known as Rookery Barn and the junction with Mount Pleasant and Mount Pleasant for its entire length, Boscastle.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Tregatta To Trelake Lane, Tintagel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tintagel.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th December 2025, for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Tregatta To Trelake Lane, Tintagel between the junctions Access to Valley View and Trelake Lane.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length( of road in Tintagel.

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th December 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Trebarwith Strand To Trewarmett Hill, Tintagel between property known as Glen Cottage and grid reference SX 05717 86396.
