Marlow, Temporary Footpath Closure Due To Maintenance Works

What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 1/2, Parish of Marlow) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of MAW FP 1/2 & Riverside and continues south for approx. 75M. to the Marlow Bridge. Alternative route is via existing public highway. The closure is required in the interest of public safety to facilitate works and safe working zone for the maintenance works on the underside of Marlow Bridge. The Order will come into operation on 24 November 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
