What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(LONG ACRE, THE PADDOCK AND WALKERS CLOSE, BINGHAM) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (8409)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Bingham in the Borough of Rushcliffe: -
1. Vehicles will be Prohibited from Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road:-
LONG ACRE, BINGHAM (the north-east side)
• From a point 62 metres south-east of its junction with Market Street in a south-easterly direction for 45 metres (the south-west side)
• From a point 41 metres west of its junction with Walkers Close in an easterly direction to its junction with The Paddock
• From a point opposite a point 62 metres south-east of its junction with Market Street in a south-easterly direction for 82 metres
THE PADDOCK, BINGHAM (the east side)
• From its junction with Long Acre in a southerly direction for 16 metres (the west side)
• From its junction with Long Acre in a southerly direction for 10 metres
WALKERS CLOSE, BINGHAM (the east side)
• From its junction with Long Acre in a southerly direction for 11 metres (the west side)
• From its junction with Long Acre in a southerly direction for 10 metres
2. Vehicles will be Prohibited from Waiting Mon - Sat 8 am - 6 pm along the following lengths of road:-
THE PADDOCK, BINGHAM (the east side)
• From a point 39 metres south of its junction with Long Acre in a southerly direction for 20 metres (the west side)
• From a point 10 metres south of its junction with Long Acre in a southerly direction for 22 metres

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 17th December 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
