NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Gilbert Road, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2025-2087

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Nos.76 & 96. During the period this Order remains in force Order title: The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993. Relevant Wording: Schedule 23 Cycle Lane Part 2 mandatory with flow cycle lane. Gilbert Rd on both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Histon Rd to its junction with Milton Rd is hereby suspended.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Gilbert Rd, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs on 1/12 & 2/12/25.

Chishill Road, Heydon Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2108

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Chishill Road, Heydon as lies between Heydon Footpath 4 & Fowlmere Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Heydon Ln, Heydon; Abrams Ln, Chrishall; Palmers Ln; The Green; High St; Hollow Rd; B1039; Heydon Rd, Great Chishill; Chishill Rd, Heydon & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 8/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 7/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 17:00hrs on 8/12 & 9/12/25.

Cambridge Place, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2117

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Cambridge Place, Cambridge as lies between No.35 & Hills Rd. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/12 & 5/12/25.

Cambridge Road B1049, Impington Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2119

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Cambridge Road B1049, Impington as lies between A14 Westbound Onslip & A14 Junction 32 Off Slip. The alternative route for vehicles is via A14; A428; St Neots Rd, Dry Drayton; Scotland Rd; A428; A14 respectively. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 13/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20:00hrs & 06:00hrs 15/12 & 18/12/25.

Milton Road Roundabout, Milton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2122

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Milton Road Roundabout, Milton as lies between A14 Eastbound On Slip & A14 Westbound Off Slip; A14 Westbound On Slip & A14 Eastbound Off Slip respectively.

The alternative route for vehicles is via A14; B1047; A14 & A14; B1049; A14 respectively. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 8/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 7/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20:00hrs & 06:00hrs 8/12 to 13/12/25.

Millards Lane, Lode Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2149

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Millards Lane, Lode as lies between No.4 & Lode Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Millards Ln, Lode; Northfields; Lode Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 14/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 15/12 & 17/12/25.

Six Mile Bottom Road, Weston Colville Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2154

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Six Mile Bottom Road, Weston Colville as lies between Lark Hall Heath Farm & Larkhall New Cottages. The alternative route for vehicles is via Six Mile Bottom Rd, Weston Colville; Lark Hall Rd, Little Wilbraham; Old London Rd; A1304; Brinkley Rd; Brinkley Rd, Six Mile Bottom, Brinkley; Six Mile Bottom Rd; High St; B1052; Six Mile Bottom Rd, West Wratting; Six Mile Bottom Rd, Weston Colville & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs on 18/12/25.

Cambridge Guided Busway Cycletrack 1, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-2165

Is to stop any pedestrian & cyclist from proceeding along Cambridge Guided Busway Cycletrack 1, Cambridge as lies between Francis Crick Ave & Cambridge Footpath 46.

The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate safe removal of hoarding & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 6/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 5/6/26 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23:00hrs & 06:00hrs 6/12 & 7/12/25.

High Street, Dry Drayton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2173

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Dry Drayton as lies between Dry Drayton Bridleway 1 & Park Street C193. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunication duct installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs 1/12 & 9/12/25.

Park Lane, Histon Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2175

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Park Lane, Histon as lies between School Hill & Melvin Way. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications duct installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs 1/12 to 8/12/25.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Boxworth Road, Elsworth as lies between The Drift & No.55. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 17:00hrs 18/12 to 19/12/25.

Manor Park, Histon Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2177

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Manor Park, Histon as lies between No.1 & Park Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via Manor Park; Park Ave; Park Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications duct installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 3/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 2/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs 3/12 to 5/12/25.

Is to stop any vehicle or pedestrian from proceeding along Station Road, Harston as lies between No.6 & A10. The alternative route for vehicles is via A10; Station Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate building development & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 12/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 11/6/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 12/12/25 & 6/3/26.

Haslingfield Road, Barrington Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2180

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Haslingfield Rd, Barrington as lies between Church Meadows & Level Crossing. The alternative route for vehicles is via Chapel Hill, Barrington; Chapel Hill, Haslingfield; Church St; High St; Harston Rd; Haslingfield Rd; Church St, Harston; A10; Fowlmere Rd, Shepreth; Station Rd; Barrington Rd; Shepreth Rd, Barrington; West Green; High St; Haslingfield Rd & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate bus stop & tactile paving installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/12 & 12/12/25.

Bottisham Cycletrack 1, Bottisham & Newmarket Road, Stow Cum Quy
Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Track – Order 2025-2181

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle track as lies between St Mary Stow cum Quy Parish Church & Good View. During the period this Order remains in force Order title: The County of Cambridgeshire Newmarket Road, A1303, Bottisham & Stow cum Quy Cycle Tracks Order 1984. Relevant wording: lengths of footways designated as cycle tracks. Parishes of Bottisham & Stow cum Quy. That length of footway on the northern side of Newmarket Rd A1303 from its junction with Bell Rd, Bottisham in a westerly direction to its junction with Church Rd, Stow cum Quy is hereby suspended.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of new drop crossing & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 1/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/5/27 whichever is the earlier.

This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Bottisham Cycletrack 1, Bottisham & Newmarket Rd, Stow cum Quy are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/12/25 & 5/12/25.

Church Lane & Church Close, Whittlesford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2183

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Church Lane & Church Close, Whittlesford as lies between St Mary & St Andrew Church & Duxford Rd; No.18 & Church Ln respectively. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate drainage repairs, jetting, gully emptying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 15/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 14/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs on 15/12/25.

Scotts Gardens, Whittlesford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2194

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Scotts Gardens, Whittlesford as lies between No.12 & High Street. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate drainage repairs, jetting, gully emptying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs on 11/12/25.

High Street, Babraham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2247

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Babraham as lies between Chalk Farmhouse & Babraham Church Car Park. The alternative route for vehicles is via High St; A1307; A11; A505; Babraham Rd, Pampisford; Pampisford Rd, Babraham; High St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of new speed cushions & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/12/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18/12 & 19/12/25.

Corn Exchange Street, Cambridge Southbound Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-2273

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Corn Exchange St, Cambridge Southbound as lies between Downing St & Grand Arcade Car Park Exit. The alternative route for vehicles is via Corn Exchange St, Cambridge; Wheeler St; Bene’t St; Trumpington St; Trumpington St C294; Pembroke St; Downing St respectively. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate mobile crane lifting of air con unit & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 26/11/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 25/5/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23:00hrs 26/11 & 06:00hrs 27/11/25.

Childerley Footpath 2, Childerley Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-2327

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Childerley Footpath 2, Childerley as lies between Childerley Bridleway 1 & Boxworth Footpath 7. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate solar farm installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 29/11/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/5/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 29/11/25 & 28/5/26.

Various Roads, South Division Temporary No Parking/Waiting & Temporary One Way System – Order 2025-2288

Is that no vehicle shall wait/park along various road & create a one way traffic system as set out in schedules 1 & 2 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedules 1 & 2.

The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate carriageway, footpath improvement, traffic calming measures & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6/12/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 5/6/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedules. The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
