BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(NORDEN CHRISTMAS LIGHTS, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Edenfield Road from it junction with Hutchinson Road to its junction with Woodhouse Lane
(ii) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Trinity Street for its length.
(iii) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Clapgate Road for its entire length.
(iv) Temporarily suspend waiting or loading at any time along Edenfield Road from its junction with Hutchinson Road to its junction with Woodhouse Lane
(v) Temporarily suspend waiting or loading at any time along Trinity Street for its entire length
vi) Temporarily suspend waiting or loading at any time along Clapgate Road for its entire length The Order is required to facilitate the Norden Christmas lights switch on.

The part of this order relating to prohibition of vehicles on Edenfield Road & Clapgate Road will be operative from 19:00 hours until 20:00 hours on the 20th November 2025.

The part of this order relating to prohibition of vehicles on Trinity Street will be operative from 17:30 hours until 20:00 hours on the 20th November 2025.

The part of this order relating to temporarily suspending loading and waiting at any time on Edenfield Road & Clapgate Road will be operative from 19:00 hours until 20:00 hours on the 20th November 2025.

The part of this order relating to suspension of waiting and loading at any time on Trinity Street will be operative from 17:30 hours until 20:00 hours on the 20th November 2025.

Due to the nature of the event there will be no signed alternative route for vehicles.

(BROAD LANE, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Broad Lane from its junction with Ginnel Farm Avenue in a South Easterly direction for a distance of 130 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Broad Lane from its junction with Ginnel Farm Avenue in a South Easterly direction for a distance of 130 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate bridge deck repair within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 20:00 to 05:00 nightly from the 23rd November 2025 to the 28th November 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Broad Lane, Rochdale Road, Thornham Road, Castleton Road, Shaw Road, Oldham Road, New Broad Lane & vice versa.

(SMITHY BRIDGE ROAD, LITTLEBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING PARKING BAY & INTRODUCTION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily;
(i) Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008

From a point 55 metres east of its junction with Brown Lodge Street for a distance of 12 metres in an easterly direction.
(2) Temporary introduction of no waiting at any time along Smithy Bridge Road from a point 55 metres east of its junction with Brown Lodge Street for a distance of 12 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the suspension of 2 parking bays to allow for the safe excavation for a new electrical service within the footway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 24th November 2025 until 23:59 on the 28th November 2025.

(RIVER STREET, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER) (TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF TWO WAY WORKING) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025 ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along River Street from its junction with Faulkner Street for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction
(ii) Temporarily suspend part of The Greater Manchester County (Various Roads, Rochdale) (Traffic Regulation) (County) Order 1976, insofar as vehicles will be able to travel in both directions along River Street from Water Street to Drake Street in that direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of a failed reinstatement in the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on 24th November until 23:00hours on the 25th November 2025.
